In 2023, I was invited to paint one of the main streets in downtown Florianópolis in collaboration with the artist Tio Trampo. The invitation from Rizo — a local artist and curator of the StreetArtTour — was motivated by my work with urban art, addressing the importance of occupying public space, cities designed for people, and the representation of women and bicycles in everyday urban life. I then created the word-poem VIVACIDADEVIVA, which stretches across the block — a single word measuring approximately 90 x 8 meters — to celebrate life, color, and art.
Em 2023, fui convidada para realizar a pintura de uma das principais ruas do centro de Florianópolis em collab com o artista Tio Trampo. O convite do Rizo – artista local e curador do StreetArtTour – foi motivado pela minha atuação com arte urbana, falando da importancia da ocupação do espaço público, de cidades pensadas para pessoas, da representatividade da mulher e da bicicleta no cotidiano das cidades. Criei então a palavra-poema VIVACIDADEVIVA que atravessa a quadra, uma só palavra com aproximadamente 90 x 8 metros para celebrar a vida, as cores e a arte.
Besides these huge letters seem from above, shorter stencil-cut messages were sprayed on the floor — some referencing earlier projects and important themes in my career, such as “Saia de Bici” (translating Ride a Bike) a mural created at Praça de Bolso de Ciclistas in Curitiba; “Uma Cidade para Todos” a large-scale lettering piece painted with the collective Criatipos in the city’s bus corridor for the 2015 Brazilian Design Biennial on Urban Mobility; and phrases like “Me sentir segura caminhando por aí” (translating 'To feel safe walking around'), which advocate for cities that are safer and designed with women in mind.
Em frases menores, levei recortes em stencil de mensagens – algumas que fazem referência a outras ações ao longo da minha carreira como: a pintura "Saia de Bici" – mural realizado na Praça de Bolso de Ciclistas de Curitiba, "Uma cidade para todos" – lettering gigante pintado com o coletivo Criatipos na canaleta de ônibus também em Curitiba para a Bienal Brasileira de Design sobre Mobilidade Urbana em 2015 e também frases como "Me sentir segura caminhando por aí" reinvindicando cidades mais seguras e pensadas para nós, mulheres.
The street was repainted with the same artwork in November 2025.
A rua foi restaurada com a mesma pintura em novembro de 2025.
